Since 1931, Merle Norman Cosmetics has defined prestige skin care and cosmetics. The award-winning brand is celebrated by millions of women across multiple generations as a solution-driven beauty industry staple. Merle Norman in Clocktower Square opened in 1988 and has been a West Des Moines expect in beauty for 36 years. Kristin Dunwoody owns the Merle Norman Clocktower store. She started with Merle Norman Cosmetics in 1998 and has been a loyal Merle Girl ever since. Kristin purchased the Clocktower store in 2021 and a short two years later opened her second location in Altoona, Iowa. Her passion is Merle Norman and helping women find a confident natural look.
Our beauty consultants are annually certified by Merle Norman Cosmetics in advanced makeup Artistry and skin care techniques. Our goal is to help you look and feel your very best. Our studio offers complimentary try-on sessions, free monthly interactive facials, special occasion services, gift certificates, wig sales and fittings and many years of service.
Sue has worked in the studio since 2010 and is a former studio owner of the Southridge Mall Merle Norman. She brings over 25+ years of Merle Norman expertise.
Jayne has been working in the Clocktower Square location since 2021 and is also a former studio owner. She has been a faithful Merle Girl for over 25 years.
Rhonda has been with our Clocktower location since 2023, and also worked for Merle Norman in Southridge for 20 years.
Jessi started with Merle Norman in 2023 and has been a wonderful addition to our team.
