About Merle Norman

Behind today's Merle Norman Cosmetic Studios lies an inspiring history. In the 1920's Merle Norman began developing her own line of cosmetics to help other women care for their skin and enhance their natural beauty. Merle Noman offered free samples to her neighbors, believing they would return and purchase her products. She was right.

In 1931, Merle Norman opened her first Studio in Santa Monica, California. In her Studio, Merle Norman carried a "Try Before You Buy" philosophy, gaining customers by allowing those who came to her Studio to discover for themselves the unique benefits of her affordably priced products.

Decades before working women became the norm, Merle Norman encouraged women to achieve business success by opening their own Studio. By the late 1940's, Merle Norman Studio's were coast to coast.  Today, there are approximately 2,000 independently owned and operated studios offering cosmetics from one of the best made-in-the-U.S.A companinies.

About Our Studio

The CoolSprings Merle Norman on Galleria Boulevard was established the year the Galleria Mall was built in 1991.  We are located on the side of the Wild Oats building.  We proudly offer the full line of Merle Norman Cosmetic Products, with Free Makeover Lessons so that you can "Try Before You Buy"! 

Our People

We are independently owned and operated by Carla and Brandi Duren. Our Staff is carefully trained and dedicated to helping you select the products that are right for you. We have licensed Aestheticians, a Cosmetologist, Certified Makeup Artists and Beauty Consultants. We are proud to carry on Merle's long-term commitment to personalized service, great return policy, and a "Try Before You Buy" philosophy!

Our Customers

Our turnover is low, so we have grown to know our local customers as our friends.  It is a fun and relaxing place to hang out and try new products and colors.  Occasionally we get to meet new faces from visiting travelers.  We try to make each person feel special, going the extra mile to be geniune, friendly, and give excellent customer service.
