Summer 2013 shows opposites attracting with a blending of cool and warm tones. Gone are thedays of a monochromatic look, mixing tones on the face is the new way to play (and bring beautiful balance tofeatures)! The NEW Merle Norman 2013 Summer Color Collection features the hottest shades for eyes, lips andcheeks. The collection is available in studios for a limited time beginning May 1, 2013.

Right on trend, the Summer Color Collection features two Limited Edition Eyecolor Trios that can be mixed and matched to create the perfect summertime look. The On the Boardwalk palette includes the warm neutral hues with a juiced-up golden peach accent (Sarong, Thanks a Latte, and Bonfire). The Down by the Sea palette marries cool purples with a splash of the surprise color of the season seafoam green (Lazy Gray, Sophisticate, and Just a Mint).

The coming together of cool and warm tones continues with Merle Norman’s Lasting Cheekcolors in Mauve Over and Beachcomber. We love using the cool pink cheekcolor Mauve Over at the apples of cheeks and then pairing it with Beachcomber on sun kissed areas of the face like the bridge ofthe nose and forehead. It gives that I’ve just been running along the beach (without having to run) Summery glow!
