"Hearts That Help!"

| Dear Valued Customer, The circle of friends, families and loved ones who are stricken by cancer grows every day. That is why raising funds and awareness is still important - and it is why I am reaching out to you.
My employee and friend Christina has worked at our sister studio in the Del Amo mall for over 17 years. Her husband Robert has been battling cancer for 3 years. To show our support, our event for February is called "Hearts that Help." All three of my Merle Norman Studios will donate $1.00 from every skin care product sold to Christina's family. Additional donations will be accepted at each location towards a fund that will allow the Delima Family to go on a much-deserved family vacation.
Delima Family Story ....
"On September 16, 2009, my husband Robert was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer. The doctors felt his cancer was curable if treatment was started immediately. At the time our focus was on our 3 year old daughter named Kyra. Enduring months of painful chemo and radiation treatments has forced Robert to receive all nourishment thru a feeding tube. On December 19, 2011 we received news that Robert's cancer has now spread to his blood and could land in anyone of his organs. His diagnosis is 10-12 months with us. That week we spent quality time as a family just loving each other. We are praying that the clinical trial he is currently in may prolong his life to see our daughter grow."
